Proporta Maya Case
Proporta's Maya Case for the iPod Touch is a simple padded sleeve with a neat design. The sleeve design allows owners of the sleek and slim iPod Touch to enjoy using their ipod without a bulky slide in case or silicone cover, yet still protect their ipod while not using it. I am one of those owners that prefers this sleeve design over a snap on plastic cover, or a tightly fitting silicone case.
First off, the Maya case sells for around $20, which isn't that expensive but it's not a steal either. Since its just a basic sleeve, some might not want to ditch out $20 for this, but it is a quality product for what it is so someone looking for a nice sleeve case for their ipod shouldn't mind the $20 pricetag. The maya comes in 6 vibrantly colored designs with a couple simple strips on it for looks.
Again, the Maya case is a basic sleeve, so you have one opening to slide your ipod into. You can put your ipod in upside down so you can access the headphone jack and charge port. It's not a very snug fit but the material on the interior of the case creates enough friction so the ipod doesn't slide out too easily. I haven't had any problems with the ipod sliding out or anything like that.
While the Maya case isn't going to win most innovative case of the year, its still a very solid product for what it is. And thats a quality sleeve case that offers sufficient padding to your ipod when not being used. There is also a lanyard point on the back of the case if you want to attach a lanyard or some sort of wrist strap.
