PDO TopSkin

PDO's TopSkins are one of the best roads to take if you are going to go down the silicone skin route. These heavy duty skins are very protective and have a couple features that make them stand out against other silicone skins.

First off, these skins sell for around $20 and come in black, blue, pink and white. They come with a wrist strap, screen protector and a removable swivel belt clip. The durable silicone skins have a micro-texture pattern on the sides giving your ipod extra grip. A nice swivel feature lets you rotate your ipod any way when clip to your belt and makes it easy to remove the entire belt clip mechanism.

Like I said before, the TopSkins have unique features that make them a step above the competition. The skin covers both the home button and the on/off button but both are still very functional. The biggest difference though is the skin has flaps that cover the headphone jack and dock connector so dust and objects cannot get into the case when you are not using it. When you want to plug in, the flaps fold down out of the way for easy use.

The color choices are nice but even as far as silicone skins go the TopSkin is not the sleekest but it does look good. It is a very sporty looking case that is rugged and heavy duty compared to its competition. You will be very impressed with the durability and protection offered by the TopSkins.

bottom line

A fairly priced sporty and rugged silicone skin with the ultimate protection and usability. The included belt clip, screen protector and wrist strap are just an added bonus.
