Belkin Silicone Sleeve

Belkin's silicone sleeve is a cheap and handsome way to protect your iPod Touch. The sleeve is made of durable black silicone that is form-fitting. The sleeve leaves access to both the dock connector, headphones and also the on/off button. Like most protective cases for the iTouch, this sleeve leaves the screen wide open to damage. Fortunately for us owners, the iPod Touch screen is scratch resistant so my only concern with these open screen cases is dust and stuff getting on the screen or inside the case.

As far as looks go, this all black sleeve compliments the iTouch nicely. On the back, ‘Belkin' is etched into the silicone which looks fairly nice. There is a belt loop on the back, which I find virtually useless as there is something about dangling my iTouch from my waist that doesn't strike me as a good idea.

For $15, Belkin's sleeve is a good choice for iTouch protection. Some may find the smooth silicone sleeve a bit slippery, so you might want to look into a similar case but with some type of grip.

bottom line

Belkin always offer a good warranty on their quality products and are a great company. If you like their products and like the sleek look on this case then I would recommend it. However, there are similar cases in the same price range that offer more features such as added grips or stylish colors.
